Terms of Service

Effective: May 11, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of peagravelcalculator.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Description of Service

The Site provides free calculators, guides, and reference content about pea gravel for landscaping and construction projects. The Site is offered for personal, non-commercial reference use. Quantities, weights, and prices returned by the calculators are estimates only. You must verify them with your supplier and contractor before placing any order or starting any project.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

3. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, articles, calculator interfaces, code, images, the "Pea Gravel Calculator" name and logo, and the site design — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by US and international copyright and trademark law.

You may view, print, and link to pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may quote short excerpts (up to 100 words) of articles with clear attribution and a link to the source page. Any other use, including republication on another website, requires our prior written consent.

4. Calculator Accuracy & "AS IS" Disclaimer

The calculators use widely accepted density and conversion constants for pea gravel: approximately 100 lb/ft³ loose density, 1.35 short tons per cubic yard, and 50 lb per standard bag. Actual values vary by gravel size, moisture content, compaction, supplier, and region.

The Site is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. You use the calculators at your own risk and should always verify quantities with your supplier before ordering.

5. Not Professional Advice

The Site is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional engineering, construction, landscape, legal, or financial advice. Always consult a qualified licensed professional before starting any construction project, particularly those involving structural elements, drainage, load-bearing surfaces, or permits.

6. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. Those sites are not operated by us, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices. Links are provided for convenience only and do not constitute endorsement.

The Site displays advertisements served by third parties including Google AdSense. We do not control which specific ads appear and do not endorse the products or services advertised. Any transaction you enter into with an advertiser is solely between you and that advertiser.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Pea Gravel Calculator, its operators, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages — including without limitation damages for lost profits, lost data, project cost overruns, or material shortages — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operators of the Site from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

10. Modifications
